Craft It: Easter Decor for the Front Door
I found a frame in my craft closet that I wasn't using, so I decided to wrap it in strips of burlap. I secured the burlap with hot glue on the back. I used this sweet little nest (from last year's Easter wreath) as my accent. I attached it with some hot glue. Then I added a strip of light blue chevron fabric for some color.
Hint: All my Spring/Easter Decor ideas can be found on the right side bar of my blog. Check them out if you are looking for !
I decorated our potted rosemary shrubs with hanging eggs and some other 'eggy' accents. (I have had these forever! I think they were originally from the Dollar Spot at Target). I used burlap ribbon from Hobby Lobby to make big bows for the toppers.
The front door decor is simple, but I like how it brings some of my "in-door" decor style outside.
Do you have a Spring wreath on your door now?
PS- I am headed to BlissDom this Thursday-Saturday night. BlissDom will be my very first blog conference. Although it just happens to be 10 minutes from my home, I am staying at the resort to get 'the full conference experience'. This will be the first time I have left my girls overnight with my hubby! Say a little prayer for us all. I know he will do great-- I am just afraid I will miss them terribly.
Join me at BlissDom-- I will be sharing/updating on Twitter, Instagram and on my FB page.

That is so cute and easy! I just happen to have a square frame just like that one. Can't wait to give this a try. Happy Easter! Kindredlive.com
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I did something similar on our door, only using our monogram, moss & a nest. I'm in Texas too- on the coast :)
