Spring Has Sprung

No matter how much effort a person puts into their spring decor,

no one can top 'Mother Nature'.

She knows just where to add a pop of color

and where more texture is needed

 The shades are brilliant

and she knows just how to 'accessorize'.

I love how Spring seems to decorate itself.

Looking to make a burlap wreath like the one on my front door? Cut 3-4 yards of burlap into 3 inch strips, then weave it back and forth onto a wire hanger. Finally,  add a nest and a few eggs.

What has Mother Nature done around your home?

I love Spring for the same reasons....I can hardly drive without pointing everywhere to my kids..."look at that...isn't that pretty?".I bet more accidents happen in Spring! Is that a Lady Banks rose?

Hi Samantha,
Spring has to be my favorite season because of all the beautiful blooms after the starkness of winter. Lovely post.

Love the wreath! Are the ferns in the urns by your front entrance real? Are they under an over hang??

Morgan- those ferns are real! We get a good amount of shade in the mornings, so the ferns do well there in the spring. Summer is harder with the heat (most plants don't like 105!). But with regular watering they make it through both spring and summer. The front door has a small overhang that also provides shade.
