Pink: A Bachelorette Party

My favorite feminine color- rose, blush, berry, bashful, honeysuckle.

Whatever you call it, no other color makes a girl smile like pink! Here are a few of my newest hair creations. And of course, they are all perfectly pink :) I created them for a fun group of girls to wear out during a Bachelorette Party weekend.

This one is for the bride!

Are you a pink girl? Do you know one?

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

I took my girl to see "The Wizard of Oz" last weekend. She loved it!

She and I even made a special dress to wear- Glinda is her favorite character.

Wouldn't it be great to have a "Wizard of Oz" party?!

Party favors- Dorothy boxes and Scarecrow buckets

Red slippers for the little girls

Let's just hope Afton is still a fan by the time her birthday rolls around again- because with all of these ideas, the party is basically planned! Plus, I am dying for these shoes :)

Doesn't it always come down to the shoes?
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

Summer Inspiration

Today marks our first week of summer vacation. Let the revelry begin!

These photos make me look forward to warm temperatures, bare legs, spontaneous play dates, sun screen, late bedtimes, eating outdoors, and making memories with my girls.

This is our "first craft of summer"! Get a piece of poster board and write down all those goals for the next 3 months. I hung ours in the pantry. It's a great idea for keeping track of all those summer activities and it will be helpful on the days when 'boredom' comes knocking on the door.

What are you looking forward to this summer? Need some ideas for your list-- check out this link "100 Things to do with Your Kids".

Also I am so happy that one of my favorite crafting blogs "The Crafting Chicks" featured my Rapunzel Party on Friday!!! Check out the feature and their super creative blog!
