The party theme really started with this invitation. Like me, Becka loves Chevron :) I found this beautiful invite at "Print Your Heart Out" on Etsy. Laura, the shop owner, was wonderful to work with! She helped me customize the invite and even designed party circles, a banner, and mini flags to coordinate with the invite. I loved how easy it was to print the paper-goods from home.

The shower was held at my Dad's house. My mom, stepmom, and Becka's friend Bergen also helped to host. This party was definitely a team-effort!
Bergen my amazing co-host! |
Guests were greeted at the door with a large gold 'chalkboard' sign.
(Simply done by spray painting an old frame gold and then filling it
with black poster board. I used a gold Sharpie markers for the
lettering.)
The dessert table was my favorite part. Bergen made the beautiful poms that hung from the ceiling.

Lunch consisted of a variety of yummy, homemade goodies.

A beloved children's book "Guess How Much I Love You" served as the guest book for the shower.
Becka and Josh were touched by how many people gathered to celebrate the impending arrival of little Molly.

The shower was beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that! We decorated onesies for a baby shower but I like the brown bags inside with handles to hang later! Good idea!! And the gold mason jars..easy and pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe gold and pink are such a lovely combination. You guys certainly know how to throw a lovely shower. All the best to your sister on the birth of her little one. Stopping by from the Cowgirl Up Link Party and wishing you all the best in this New Year!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I love the color combination. And such great ideas...the decorating a onesie is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThank you for some great ideas! I am working on my little grandson's baby shower for February and I love the spray painted mason jars. I think I will paint mine baby blue and I am wanting to make pom poms out of yarn. We'll see... I also like the chalkboard ideas and signing of the book! What a lovely shower and the photos of the guests are just wonderful!
