Colorful Family Christmas Tree
All the ornaments on my tree, except for the dozen or so silver snowflakes and glittered balls, they all have a personal story attached to them.
Our tree is lit with a rainbow of lights and wrapped in silver ribbon. The topper is an 'old school' glittered gold star.
The ornaments are all personal. A mixture of ornaments from our childhoods, ornaments my students gave me several years ago when I was teacher, and ornaments given to my little girls. There are lots of handmade ones too.
My favorite thing about our tree is how it looks early in the morning. When I get up early to make coffee, before anyone else has even stirred, I switch on the lights and marvel at the glow.
Something about those lights just makes it 'feel like' Christmas.
What does your Christmas tree look like this year?

Perfect....just perfect. I also like to be up alone with the tree in the morning, the best part of the day...

LOVE it! We have mostly sentimental ornaments too. Love the snowman one! I think that we will try that this year for the grandparents.
