Outside we have some festive Halloween yard decor. Jeff cut the shapes out of wood with a jigsaw and then I painted them. The wooden pieces have metal poles on the back that push into the ground.
I made our Halloween wreath (you might recognize it from last week's Merida party) by adding ribbon, paper feather plumes, and flowers to a grapevine wreath. I added the pumpkin to the center - that little glittery medallion is from Target!
Inside, I like to keep things simple. The mantle has several sparkly orange pumpkins, spooky crows, and a few glittered skulls. The crows, skulls and pumpkins are all from Dollar Tree. The fall wreath is from Balsam Hill.
On our dining room table, I decorated a burlap runner with felt spider webs (also from the Dollar Tree) and glittery pumpkins. The black ones are from Target (in the Dollar Spot!) and the metallic one hails from Hobby Lobby.
And this is a photo of Maisy pretending to be scary. (Too cute not to include in this post!)
To finish up our Halloween decor, I have a bright orange pumpkin in the sitting area. There will probably be a few more here and there before the month is over.

I loved it! The front door wreath is adorable. I've always done fun Halloween! My son is 15 and had never lived scary, still turns his head away when we head through a costume store. :)

ReplyDeleteI love all your fun and festive decor. And don't you just love that you can find so many good, low-cost Halloween decorations at places like Dollar Tree and Target? I think that's why I find it so easy to decorate for Halloween.
