Yesterday was rainy and dreary around here. So after church, we did a little crafting. The girls made paper plate bugs (the giant googly eyes were a big hit!).
And I tried out the new magnetic paper from Silhouette. I simply pulled some images from my Silhouette library, then added stripes and color. Next I printed them out from my home printer.
And finally, I ran them through the Silhouette Cameo for the cut.
My DIY Magnets turned out pretty cute. And the good thing about new magnets is that they can motivate a person to clean up the crazy mess of papers that 'may' be living on their fridge.
The girls think they are fun to play with too. You can use the magnetic paper to print photos, numbers, letters, or holiday themed clip art. I think cute magnets make a good "happy" gift for a teacher or sweet friend. There are also a great way to entertain your kiddos!

What a nifty and cute idea! I love magnets and will have to try this. Will it work on Inkjet printers?
ReplyDeleteThese are seriously cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks Danice and Joyce ;) Yes Danice- you can print from your ink jet printer. If you don't have a Silhouette, you can 'handcut' the magnets.
