My hubby added some new sod to our side yard and Afton was right in the middle of the action. I love that my girly-girl doesn't mind the dirt.
Watching the two of them in the grass reminded me of our grassy eggs from last year. We emptied and cleaned a dozen eggs, added some soil and a bit of grass seed. They grew quickly and trimming them up was a lot of fun for Afton. This year, Maisy will get to help too.
If you are going to grow some "grassy eggs" for your Easter tablescape, plan on starting them about 2 weeks before Easter Sunday to catch them at their peak of green-ness.

Love this Samantha! I have an unused piece of fake grass in my basement and now I am thinking I may need to use it as a tablecloth for my daughter's springy birthday party in 2 weeks!I would be totally excited if you stopped by to link these up this weekend at my party:)
