Easy Reindeer Classroom Door

Are there any other former teachers out there? I know who you are! The ones who love a good bulletin board, the ones who understand how excited kids get for classroom holiday decorations. My friend Regina (also a former teacher) and I thought our big 4th grade kiddos needed some Christmas cheer at school.  So we decorated their teacher's doors! Since we had to do 5 doors and there were only 2 of us... we wanted to do something that did not involve wrapping the entire door. I think this Reindeer Door Decor is both simple and fun!

Since the doors were already brown, all we had to was add accents. The eyes are made from Styrofoam plates. The other parts were but by hand or with the school die-cute machine. The letters, tinsel, and boarder around the doors are all from Dollar Tree.

We actually have plans to keep them up all year! We will just change them up a little bit for each season. I think the possibilities are endless! ("Oh Deer- It's Winter" and then we can replace the ornaments with snowflakes! Then do some hearts for Valentines, shamrocks for St. Patty's Day etc. )

Of course I had to make Maisy's door customized for her--- a beautiful 'dancing' reindeer!

Thanks Regina for making volunteering and door decorating so much fun! Are you a door decorator too?! If so- you are in good company here!
