DIY Halloween T-shirt for Kids

I couldn't find any Halloween shirts I liked for the girls this year, so I decided to make my own! What's better than a homemade Halloween t-shirt? (chocolate candy?!) Really, these shirts are pretty awesome. Inexpensive, no-sewing required, quick & easy. You need to try this. Keep reading below to see how to make one for your little 'pumpkins':)

DIY Halloween T-shirt for Kids
-t-shirt of your choice (mine are from Target, only $5)
-iron-on letters (I used these from SEI Crafts)
-iron (I only use mine for crafting!)

To start, decide what you want your shirt to say. Google and Pinterest are helpful for this. Or use the same words I did! "Boo Y'all" and "Trick or Treat". Helpful hint: less letters is easier. You can choose a long phrase, but the more letters you use, the more letters you will have to arrange, straighten and re-arrange.

Next, iron-on the letters. Make sure they are completely attached to the shirt. I always pick at the edges a bit to see if they will lift up. If you can't pick an edge or corner, then you know you are good to go.

Ta-da! All done.

And if you are feeling really crafty, make one for yourself!
