-Tote Bag (Canvas Corp has my favorites!)
-Paint (like this)
-Masking Tape
-Paint Brush
-Iron On Letters (like this)
First, tape off the area you want to paint. Since this is a Christmas bag, I wanted to have candy cane stripes. I tore off strips of masking tape and put them on the bag.
Be sure to rub down each piece of tape, that way the paint does not bleed under the tape when you paint.
Next- let's paint! I used a foam brush. Be sure to cover the bag completely so none of the canvas shows through. Then let the paint dry completely before removing the tape.
After waiting 24 hours, I ironed-on the letters. And ta-da! You have a Christmas tote bag.
