How to Make Marbled Paper with Shaving Cream

We're back again with more shaving cream fun! After coloring our Easter eggs with food dye and shaving cream, we had leftover supplies. So we decided to use it for another craft project. I found this idea for using shaving cream to create "Marbled Paper" from The Artful Parent.

CREATE MARBLED PAPER WITH SHAVING CREAM

Supplies Needed:
-Cardstock
-Shaving Cream
-Food Coloring

To start, spray shaving cream all over a baking sheet. Next, add drops of food coloring and swirl it around. Then dip in a piece of white cardstock. Pull up the paper and immediately scrape off the shaving cream by dragging a long knife (you could use a ruler or paint stick too) to smear the colors across the paper.

The result is a beautiful marbled look!

The girls set the papers outside in the sun to air dry. The edges curled up a bit during the drying, so we pressed them in a book overnight to flatten the paper. The next day, we folded and cut the paper. Voila -we made our own stationery!

We'll use these as 'Easter cards', 'thank you cards' or just 'happy notes'.
