Everyone Deserves A Miele

Thank you Miele for sponsoring this post.

Back in September I traveled to NYC as part of the Miele Pure Air Blog Campaign. Over the next few months I will be sharing my experiences with my Miele vacuum.

Everyone deserves a Miele. That's a bold statement, but it's so true. My family, my friends, even YOU, we all deserve a something that will make our lives easier, our family healthier and our homes cleaner.
That dream can come true... with a Miele!
The other night, as I was herding my girls up to bed, I heard the sound of breaking glass and then "Uh-oh! Don't worry Mom, I've got it!" I bounded up the steps to see broken a broken lightbulb on the stairs. It was from the little pink nightlight that usually sits in the hall. "Someone" had unplugged it and it ended up getting knocked down the stairs. Shattered glass is a big deal-- so there was no way I was going to let my girls clean it up...

I ran and got my Miele S 8390 Home Care canister and quickly vacuumed the entire stair case. It is light and easy to move up the stair case. I knew my Miele would collect every last shard of glass and keep it sealed inside the bag. So, just like that, a crisis was averted and we were quickly onto story-time and snuggles in the playroom.

If you are thinking about a Miele, how do you know which one is right for you? After my trip to Princeton as part of the Pure Air Blogger campaign, I can help you decideAre you an 'upright type' or more of a 'canister'? Do you have lots of hard surfaces or mostly carpets? Do you have pets? What size is your home? These are things to consider when you go shopping for your Miele. And lastly-- which color is your favorite? I love my red, but that white Miele is beautiful!

Miele has canisters, uprights, and stick vacuums. With lots of options in each category and various price points- there is Miele that is just right for your home and family.

The Miele S2 Series is the entry-level, less expensive, Miele canister. They have the same motor and similar features as the Miele S6’s. You can count on a S2 to get your home clean for a great price.

The Miele S6 Series is a smaller canister weighing just under 10lbs. Because of their smaller size, the three included above-the-floor cleaning tools are mounted outside the canister on a clip conveniently connected to the hose. (Small size means your tween/teen kiddos can help vacuum! It's light enough that can easily use it.) It also features an unbelievable 33 foot cleaning radius allowing you to tackle more floor without needing to unplug and re-plug.

Miele S7 Upright Vacuum Cleaners are quite different from the S2 and S6 Series Miele Canisters. The S7 upright vacuum cleaners are designed for homes with large amounts of carpeting and very small areas of bare floors. The Miele S7 does allow you to move from carpet to bare floor easily. It offers cleaning attachments too!

The Miele S8 Series is the crème de la crème of canister vacuum cleaners. The Miele S8 was designed with a new ergonomic handle and lightweight build. . The S8 models are best known for are their Silence Motors. The Miele’s S8 Cat and Dog model was created with the pet-owner in mind. It even includes a Handheld Turbo Brush to remove pet hair from stairs, upholstery  or other hard to reach fabrics.

You can 't go wrong with a Miele. Which one sounds like the best fit you and your family?

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

PS- If you're a woodworker or know someone who likes to build, consider these vacuum options for your shop projects.
