A Beautiful Wedding

This was the big wedding weekend. Jeff's youngest sister, Jessie, got married in Fort Worth.

We kicked off the celebrating with pedicures and lunch downtown. Jessie gave the flower girls personalized necklaces that she ordered on etsy. Afton was thrilled :)

Jessie has a great sense of style and created an event full of special details.

The wedding and reception were held at a beautiful art gallery. It had a gorgeous courtyard, lush landscaping, exposed brick, and great lighting.

Jessie wanted the wedding to be vintage with a modern twist.

I love her dress, hair and make-up. Lace, red lipstick, a Crafty Texas Girl hair piece :)

And look at her sister Jenn. All bridesmaids should look this good. I made her hair clip to coordinate with the bride's hair accessory.

I created the flower girls' tutus and hair accessories to go along with her color scheme. Grey, silver, white, chartreuse, ivory.

The bride has always loved Converse shoes. So all the kiddos, the groom, the usher, and even the father of the groom wore a pair.

The wedding programs doubled as fans. And on the back-side was a cross-word puzzle about the happy couple. Small pencils were attached so the guests could solve the puzzle.

The centerpieces included lots of fresh flowers arranged in glass vases and mason jars.

Custom koozies served as party favors.

Tiny chalk boards held descriptions of food and drinks. Dinner was delicious: sirloin and crab cake sliders, a mac-n-cheese bar, and a variety of summer salads. My mother-in-law made the cakes. She is such a talented baker. Jessie ordered 'tree stumps' off etsy to serve as the cake stands. An ice cream bar with brownies and toppings accompanied the cake.

A special 'kids area' was set up with tiny tables, chick-fil-a, bubbles, toys, and art supplies.

Jeff built Jessie a set of 'corn hole' boards for the wedding. She painted them with their initials.

There was also great music and a lot of dancing.

I loved this wedding. So much thought and personal style. Congrats Jessie and Matt!
