Modern Easter Decorating Ideas

Spring has arrived and it's time to decorate for Easter. This time of year is when the weather is at its best. Bright blue skies, warm sunshine and an abundance of budding flowers. I do love Spring! The promise of a fresh start along with all the colorful blooms is inspiring.  Looking to give your Easter decorations a modern refresh? Here are four super-stylish approaches to creating a look that is both classic and modern.

GREENERY AND LAYERED ACCESSORIES FOR SIMPLE AND FRESH EASTER DECOR

Easter bunnies and colored eggs are a well-known symbol of Easter. You can make these traditional items feel new by layering them with things like books, metallic glass vases, and fresh greenery. Try mixing your Easter decorations with everyday items, this creates a more modern feel to the spring flair you are adding to your home.

OMBRE EASTER EGGS

Although there is always room in my Easter basket for traditionally dyed eggs, it's fun to play with the variety of shades and colors found in the plastic eggs purchased from the store. Since I love to decorate with hints of blue, I pulled all of the azure eggs I could find. Whether they are a true blue, cornflower blue, blue-green or even teal, they all pair well together. Stack the eggs in a bowl or jar to create an ombre feel.

EASTER FELT LETTER BOARD IDEAS

A modern twist on any holiday is to add a themed message using a felt letter board. I have rounded up a few of my favorite ideas for an Easter letter board. Some are punny, some are religious, and some are just cute. Adding a felt letter board to your holiday decor is a chic and affordable way to refresh your Easter decor.

FRESH SPRING FLOWERS FOR EASTER

Easter bunnies often serve as the focal point for all of the Easter decorations, but fresh spring flowers always steal the show. Use tulips as a table centerpiece, consider layering them on a pastel plate or filling the bottom of the vase with colorful plastic eggs.

PIN IT- FRESH AND MODERN EASTER DECOR

I hope these ideas inspired you to take another look at your traditional Easter decor. You can create a look that is both classic and modern by using what you have in a unique way. These simple and fresh Easter decorations are sure to give you all the spring feels!
