Pretty Party: Fall Bridal Shower

My youngest sister Becka is getting married in a few months. And in celebration of our dear Becka and her fiance Josh, we decided to honor her with a fall themed shower--"Apple of My Eye: He Picked Her, She Picked Him".

The idea for the theme came from Hostess with the Mostess.
This party was special not only because it was for Becka, but because of all the fun we had planning it. Thanks to Pinterest, my mom and sisters (yes even the bride!) were able to share their ideas with me. It was neat for all four of us to collaborate without even being in the same room, or even the same state for that matter!

Our inspiration for this party can be found at by clicking here.

Throwing a party as team is so much easier than doing it alone.  All the baking, crafting, and decorating was divided among Amanda, my mom, and myself.

The shower was held at my mom's beautiful house. We decorated the table by "shopping her home". The table was filled with homemade finger foods, rustic burlap, clean white linens, fresh apples, sparkly crystal, fine china, and speckled with a few bright orange pumpkins.

Don't you love 'toile pumpkin' my mom made? A bit of fabric and mod podge on a real pumpkin!
My mom created these Corn Husk Poms from a tutorial found on Centsational Girl.

This wreath is actually my door decor from Valentine's Day. But the natural colors and sweet message made it the perfect accent for the shower.

Amanda made these yummy, adorable apple cupcakes. They are chocolate cupcakes topped with mini-donuts that have been cut in half. The entire top was iced and then rolled in red sprinkles.

In keeping with the theme, I dipped crunchy apples in gooey caramel and then sprinkled chocolate chips over the top. The tags for the apples (which served as party favors) were custom made for free over at The Wedding Chicks.

The party was kept lively by these three girls. They will be part of the ceremony. Becka is actually having six flower girls total. Such a sweet aunt to include everyone on her big day!

Becka was given so many lovely gifts. Dishes, cook sets, utensils, stemware and more.

At the end of the shower, we had everyone place a red thumb print on this vintage tree printable I found here

I mounted the tree printable on a canvas covered in newspaper and mod modge. It made the cutest 'guest book' and since Becka loves to decorate in black and white, she can hang it in their new home. It will be a sweet reminder of the friends and family who gathered to celebrate with her.

We love you Becka- and wish happiness and blessings upon you and Josh!
