Teacher Appreciation Luncheon- Picnic Style

Is there anything more satisfying than serving others?  Telling people, "you are appreciated, we are thankful for you" and treating them to a meal gives you a warm, happy feeling.

Don't believe me? Try it!

Our PTA recently hosted an Appreciation Luncheon for our middle school staff. We treated them to lunch from Cowboy Chicken, along with salads and a dessert bar.

We chose a 'picnic' theme to go along with this cute quote... "If teachers were flowers, we would pick you!"

We decorated with large mason jars (found here) and bright yellow sunflowers from Trader Joe's.

We also set up a photo booth, because it's not a party without a photo booth!

We were thrilled that we could provide each teacher/staff member with a 'gift' at the luncheon. The gifts were gift cards and certificates donated by local businesses and parents. Our middle school staff does so much, it felt good to be able to show them how much we appreciate them.

Who in your life needs to hear a 'thank you' today?
