(Jeff and I cracked ourselves up by dressing in coordinating plaid shirts. We didn't even plan it!)
For the food, Jeff took care of the main course- Mississippi Mud Roast served on rolls. He used a recipe similar to this and everyone loved it. It was easy and delicious.

I was in charge of two appetizers. Fun food is my speciality- so I scoured Pinterest for "Christmas Party Food".
I decided to make a 'Spinach Dip Breadstick Christmas'. The recipe is from the blog "Always Autumn"- the recipe is here. As I began to put it together, I got a little nervous. Some of the comments made me think that I was taking on a crazy hard project.
But happily, it turned our perfectly. It was sooooo good!
I made mini chocolate chip cookies and red velvet cake balls for dessert. It was such a great night with friends. I am already looking forward to next year's party !
