How to Wear Pink

Pink is now my favorite color. All shades of pink- from rose gold, to hot pink, to fuchsia, and even a pale cotton candy pink. It can be feminine, flirty, classic, and fun. A hint of pink is warm, just like a sunset. And since I love to share a good 'find'... Here are my tips for "Wearing Pink" this summer.

1. Rose Gold Bubble Ear Cuff Earrings- These are a new style for me and I was so excited to try them. The cuff earring sits along the side of your ears. Just put them on, curl them up the ear and pinch the back to hold it tightly. They are light-weight, easy to wear and a nice change from my usual studs. They are prettiest shade of Rose Gold-- they with anything and you can dress them up or down. Plus I feel super trendy when I wear them. Lol. (Via Amorium Jewlery)

2. Rose Gold Aviator Glasses- Life is better through 'rose colored' glasses right? Plus these are great to wear when you don't have eye-make up, because your eyes are hidden. Throw these on with some hot pink lipstick and you are set! Mine are from Guess, but I have included links for other options as well. (Guess Rose Gold Aviators, Target Rose Gold Aviators, Charming Charlie Rose Gold AviatorsAeropostale Women's Rimless Aviator Sunglasses Rose Gold )

3. Pale Pink Polish- I do my own nails. I love a good manicure, but honestly-- who has the time or money to get it done weekly? (not me!) So once a week, after I clean the house, I "reward" myself by painting my nails. My favorite color is of course- pink! I use the Gelous Clear Nail Polish coat as a base and layer it between two coats of the pink, specifically OPI "Mod About You". Then I top with another coat of the Gelous Clear Nail Polish, and finish with a clear coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Nail Coat. This way my nail color lasts the whole week---until I am ready to clean the house and paint my nails again :)

4. Rosy Pink Lips- The pink lipstick thing has become a bit of a running joke around my house. I used to wear only a light gloss or something sheer. But last year, before we went to Cancun- I decided to buy some hot pink lip color to wear on the trip. It felt like a fun, bold thing to do-- on vacation. And then when I came home, I was hooked. I wore pink lipstick every day. Even to the gym! Somehow the pink lipstick just made me feel 'complete'. And if you don't have time for any other make-up, pink lipstick and a pair of sunglasses work wonders! I have several favorites-- from long-wearing to drug-store. Every woman needs a pink lipstick in her bag. (Mega Last "Dollhouse Pink", Maybelline "Fuchsia Flash", butter LONDON " Primrose Hill Picnic", Revlon Color Stay "All Night Fuchsia")

Sharing is caring! What are your favorite products for summer? Are any of them pink? :)
