Find embroidery hoops at garage sales, goodwill, or your local craft store. I used some that I found on a thrifting trip to make wall art for my daughter's room.

This is a wonderful collection of ways to use embroidery hoops. I did a post on a knock off using embroidery hoops here http://plumperfectandme.blogspot.com/2012/09/oh-i-can-make-that.html and am thinking about doing another one using embroidery hoops. They are really versatile.
