But ...I SO love my house and am so grateful for it. But isn't it fun to imagine what 'could be'?! Reminds me of window-shopping :)

Anita- What an adventure that will be! We were in Dallas this weekend and even the smallest homes have hefty price tags. But the architecture and character are so charming.

Britney- I am so excited that you bought some burlap. I love to keep a few yards on hand at all times. I am looking for an old house that has been updated, but still has lots of beautiful details. We have found s few already with a hefty price tag, swallow. It is a good idea for us to start looking now to get a feeling for which neighborhood we want to live in, but so hard to find a house, know you can't move now, and see it be sold to someone else. I have been looking at houses that look like the white one you showed. Still keeping the ranch though. I admit, I also think when I see a house, how cool would it be to blgo about that house!!Anita at Cedar Hill https://www.blogger.com/profile/01003197493013237945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4355345472109773017.post-51848618762129634322012-01-13T13:20:00.269-06:002012-01-13T13:20:00.269-06:00Amanda- that makes me feel better. Loved it from the outside, but once we got in . . . well, the kitchen was gutted, the floors sloaped drastically and there was a crazy smell. Wasn't meant to be, but I still dream about it!
-AmandaAmanda Dalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11095609168410844161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4355345472109773017.post-91120940138044161092012-01-13T08:08:43.634-06:002012-01-13T08:08:43.634-06:00Thanks girls- it would have been so lovely. Hope you find out who the new owners are - I would love a peek inside again once its been renovated xx NatNatalie @ NorthShore Dayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15387781143070916408noreply@blogger.com
